The terminal building is located in the Portuguese city’s Alfama district. The new structure spans a slope between the river and the São Jorge Castle. The proposal is characterized by the scale and lightness of the construction, the elegance and the ability to trigger a strong dialogue between the city and the river, the building accessibility and the desire to make the building a new city location between Alfama and the Tagus.
