Born in Rome in 1968, Pierfrancesco Capolei obtained an architecture degree at La Sapienza University in Rome in 1994 and enrolled in the Association of Architects, Landscape Planners and Conservators of Rome and its province in 1996. Since 1994 he has worked in the studio 3C+t Capolei Cavalli Architetti Associati, acquiring over the years a remarkable experience in the field of architectural design of complex projects.
He was a member of the Town Planning Commission of the Municipality of Tivoli from 1999 to 2000, President of the Capo d’Anzio Company in 2017 and then a Board Member until 2020.
Over the years, he has been involved in important projects of restoration, urban planning and regeneration, recovery of abandoned areas, tourist and commercial ports, waterfront design and urban development projects both in Italy and abroad. Among these, he was responsible for the development of the Structure Plan for the South Corniche of Jeddah and the consequent Masterplan (2016-2017), the “Beautification” project for four areas of the city of Doha promoted by the Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places (2019), as well as numerous projects of tourist ports – among the most recent, the Terracina Docks in Italy and the Maltepe and Bursa Marinas in Turkey.
