The project area is located in the North-Eastern part of the Municipality of Salerno, near the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway, and consists of about 10 ha. The project relates to the construction of a cemetery for all religions, a Remembrance Park arranged in the form of enclosed spaces, leaf-shaped courts where people can find peace and intimacy for prayer and meditation.
The cemetery design leaves any reference to the city, and the typical urban character of the monumental cemetery is lost. The planimetric conformation of the project is reminiscent of an olive branch, a plant sacred to all religions.
